Job Summary

We are actively seeking energetic, reliable, and physically active individuals to join our daily store team. As an entry-level Store Associate, you will be trained to process incoming freight, stock the aisles, and run the cash register. You will serve as an all-around operational star, delivering the signature convenience that sets Family Dollar apart in the discount retail industry. This is a highly physical, fast-paced role perfect for those who like to stay busy and see the immediate results of their work.

Comprehensive Responsibilities

• Freight Processing: Unload weekly truck deliveries using roller belts and U-boats, rapidly pushing new merchandise out to the sales floor.
• Merchandising & Recovery: Stock shelves with everyday essentials and groceries, pull items to the front (facing), and build promotional endcap displays.
• Customer Service: Jump onto the cash register to ring up customers swiftly during busy periods, ensuring accurate cash handling.
• Store Cleanliness: Maintain the cleanliness of the store, sweep the aisles, and ensure the parking lot and entrance are free of debris.

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, shifting quickly between unloading freight and ringing up customers.
