Job Summary

We are actively seeking highly energetic, detail-oriented, and customer-focused individuals to join our sales team. As a Retail Sales Associate, you will be trained to maintain visually appealing departments, assist customers in locating sizes, and manage the fitting room flow. You will serve as a style ambassador, delivering the signature neatness that sets Burlington apart in the off-price retail industry. Comprehensive Responsibilities

• Floor Merchandising: Execute continuous visual recovery, sizing apparel racks, organizing the shoe department, and ensuring all merchandise is correctly priced.
• Customer Engagement: Proactively approach browsing shoppers to offer assistance, provide fashion recommendations, and help them navigate the treasure hunt.
• Fitting Room Operations: Manage the fitting room area, sorting returned garments quickly and returning them to the sales floor to maximize selling opportunities.
• Markdowns & Tagging: Assist the operations team with executing price markdowns and applying electronic article surveillance (EAS) tags to high-value items.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years of age (with valid work permit) or 18 years of age upon application.
• No prior retail or apparel experience required—we will teach you the merchandising standards you need to succeed.
• Must possess a genuine passion for customer service, a strong work ethic, and a highly friendly demeanor.
• Physical capability to stand, walk on hard floors, bend, and lift up to 30 pounds continuously during a shift.
